Part Time Grill Server

Position Summary

Grill Servers at the Naylor Student Center exist to serve the needs of the student body, faculty, administration, and guests of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary by serving a variety of entrees at the Grill at Southwestern. Grill Servers are required to work with a variety of kitchen tools and equipment. Grill Servers are to operate within the confines of FDA approved inspection, preparation, and service practices, and maintain a clean and orderly working environment.

Essential Functions

1. Greet, serve, and engage customers.
2. Prepare and clean assigned work areas.
3. Replenish, rotate, stock, and clean service stations, cabinets, tables, and chairs between services.
4. Keeps floors clean from debris and spills in regards to keeping a safe environment.
5. Demonstrate complete understanding of department policies and procedures.
6. Exhibit outstanding attendance and punctuality and takes corrective action to prevent recurring absences.
7. Utilize a variety of kitchen tools and equipment.
8. Other duties to be assigned by supervisors.

Exposure to confidential information includes sensitive material regarding faculty and staff personnel records, donor records or student information. Consequences of release of such information could result in non-compliance with governmental laws, cause irreparable damage to faculty/staff/student reputation, or bring detrimental publicity to the Seminary.
