Job Summary:
Learning Technologies Technicians provide basic hardware/software support for the classroom technology and the video conferencing needs of the seminary. This is a 18-28 hours per week position.
Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities
Interface with faculty, staff, and students on a daily basis to solve technical issues
Work individually and on a team environment to complete tickets and meet end user needs in a timely manner
Support end users by answering telephone calls, online ticket requests, and walk-ins
Provide training in classroom technology for faculty and students in both physical and virtual environments
Other support duties as assigned
Regular on the job attendance and timeliness
Perform other related duties as assigned and specific to area of responsibility
Skills / Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Highly relational with a passion for customer service
Strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and accountable
Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Qualifications / Education:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
CompTIA A+ certification is a plus
Valid Driver’s License
Successful completion of background check, MVR, and credit check may be required
Supervision:
This position does not involve supervision of other persons
Reports to the Assistant Director of Learning Technologies

Physical Requirements
Physically able to sit and stand for long periods of time
Visual acuity to work with a computer
Manual dexterity to operate a keyboard and mouse
Able to attend meetings on site
Physical activity includes, but is not limited to: Ability to perform manual tasks, reaching above shoulders and reaching waist to shoulders, bending, balancing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, performing repetitive motions and standing for long durations of time
Able to climb and lift up to 5-30 pounds to perform tasks that may be assigned in the course of operations
Must be able to climb ladders
