JOB SUMMARY: 

This position assists the Director of Campus Technology and departmental leadership with administrative duties. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

  •  Receive calls, emails, and guests of the Campus Technology Administrative Office
  •  Manage the calendar of the Director of Campus Technology
  •  Communicate on behalf of the Director of Campus Technology as instructed
  •  Assist the Director of Campus Technology with administrative duties
  •  Complete small projects and tasks assigned by the Director of Campus Technology
  •  Support Campus Technology Assistant/Associate Directors with paperwork and communications as needed
  •  Monitor the time records of Campus Technology personnel
  •  Regular on the job attendance and timeliness

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  

The person in this position should have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. College degree prefered. Two years of professional or higher education experience is a plus.  

REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Able to communicate in a professional manner
  •  Relational with customer service experience
  •  Very organized with attention to detail
  •  Able to work efficiently and meet deadlines
  •  Flexible and adaptable to changing situations
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  •  Basic awareness of modern enterprise technology components, systems, and solutions or able to learn on-the-job

SUPERVISION:

This person will supervise the time records of Campus Technology personnel and occasional small projects as assigned by the Director.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Ability to lift 5-20 pounds
  •  Physical activity includes, but is not limited to: Ability to perform manual tasks, reaching above shoulders and reaching waist to shoulders, bending, stooping, performing repetitive motions, standing, and operating at a workstation for long durations of time.
